The first IRIS plus issue of the year 2011 explains and illustrates what can be called the most important milestone in Russian media law since 20 years: the adoption by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of the Resolution No. 16 'On the Judicial Practice Related to the Statute of the Russian Federation 'On the Mass Media'.
