Publisher's Synopsis
A teenager saddled with a lifetime of obstacles is left totally alone with her grandfather's construction business, McKenzie Construction Company. Casey confronts her grandfather Mac's alcoholism and suffers with watching him die an agonizing death. The men she employs rally to help her continue the business. With Mac's death the legal upheaval in her business must be solved for her company to survive. Just as Casey thinks she is able to cope with this new era of her life as an independent businesswoman, a totally new facet enters her life - that of a young man, equally talented in the building business, who is determined to win her. Casey isn't sure how to take David Gardener and is cautious of his attention from the beginning. Her construction crew is suspicious of him and try to intervene in her personal life. David is faced with a life changing crisis when Casey is injured and he must decide how badly he wants this young woman to be a part of his life.
