Publisher's Synopsis
As a high school teacher, I have become increasingly concerned about the use of Artificial Intelligence ( A.I. ) in the classroom. It seems that so many students are using A.I. to complete assignments.........I have started to wonder just what will the education level be of our country's population in 10 or 20 years. Students are learning how to program A.I. do their work for them so well that, I fear, in a decade or two much of our student population will not have learned the basics of the various subjects they "study" in high school.
So, I started thinking about things that I could do in my classroom that would ensure that students actually learned the material I was teaching. Power Point presentations are no longer the ideal assignment for students to show what they have learned, considering A.I. can make one in less than 2 minutes. So I started to consider what assignments or projects could I incorporate into my class that would be hard for A.I. to complete on behalf of the student. This book is a result of that process. Chapters include projects for:Chemical Foundations of Life
Photosynthesis
Genetics
Sensory Systems
Circulatory System
Muskuloskeletal System
Respiratory System
Endocrine System
Digestive System
