Publisher's Synopsis
A honeymoon drive down the Pacific Coast between Tacoma, WA, and San Diego, CA, can be a beautiful thing. The rugged coast is filled with cliffs, sand dunes, and wind-swept beaches. Add a flying pig, some sea lion Zen, a legend with a pet, and a beheaded saint, and the trip is nearly as interesting as it is beautiful. Throw in two elderly hitchhikers on the run from an assisted living facility, a bisexual detective, the incompetent owner of the assisted living facility, an overly concerned daughter, and socially inept son, and the Pacific Coast becomes the setting for learning that one is never too old or too labeled to be both confused and enlightened.
