John Cob Sen. Of Middleborough made his will 29 May 1727, in which he mentions his wife Rachel Cob, his sons John and James Cob, his son John's two' sons Gor shom and John Cob, and his three daughters, Martha Simons, Patience Tinkham and Rachel Standish; gives oxen to his sons John and James Cob and Moses Standish. He added a codicil 28 Sept. 17 27, in which he writes whereas it has pleased Almighty God to call to his Mercy the other day my dear wife mentioned Within my last will.
