Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from A History of the Cleveland Sinking Fund of 1862
Nothing was done under the Act of 1833. On March 19, 1850, an act of amendment was passed by the General Assembly which increased the capital stock to one hundred thousand dollars, and made the provisions of the original act apply to and embrace the corporate limits of the City of Cleveland, and County of Cuyahoga as fully and explicitly as the provisions of said act are declared in the same to apply to and embrace the corporate limits of the village of Cleveland, and County of Cuyahoga.
