This book comes with a prayer that you will be not just encouraged, but empowered by these 'fruits' to enter into all that God has purposed for the various seasons of your life. These writings were forged in a day-to-day dialogue with heaven, while engaging with the challenges of earth. The fifty two weekly devotionals are split into four seasons - Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn to follow a general rhythm of sowing, growing, reaping and maturing. There is a final 'season of grace' in memory of the poor and marginalised who, according to ancient Jewish law, were allowed to glean around the edges of each field. Sometimes, simply surviving on grace is enough.You might use it as a personal devotion throughout the year, but it could also serve as a basis for weekly messages in a church or house group. You don't have to start on 1st January, but can begin on the week in which you start to read as the seasons follow each other and come back round again.
