Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from A Discourse Delivered at the Dedication of the New Church Edifice of the Baptist Church and Society in Warren, R. I: May 8, 1845
In the following pages there are some historical notices of a sacred succession of Independent Churches, in the Principality of Wales, who held the sentiments of the modern Baptists, in more or less purity, during the long lapse of the dark ages, and even from the first introduction of Christianity into Britain. It is the history of principles, rather than the names of sects, that has engaged our at tention.
