A Different Kind of Christmas is book 2 in the Santa and his Silver Saxophone series. This story maintains the magic of Christmas as Santa and the elves finish a successful Christmas season and begin preparations for the coming year. The elves build and create new toys, take care of the reindeer and sleigh while Santa meets with children and enjoys playing his new silver saxophone. Suddenly things come to a halt as the world is upended by the Corona virus. Even though the children will be unable to sit on Santa's lap to share with him their Christmas wishes, through the magic of the silver saxophone if the children sing along with Santa as he plays their wishes will be magically added to his Christmas list. We soon learn that the children don't need to sing with Santa, they just need to sing a Christmas song, believe in Santa and the spirit of Christmas and to be kind.
