In the preparation of this compilation, the object of the foregoing resolution of the Assembly has been earnestly prosecuted, and as fully complied with as the nature of the work would permit, and with the purpose of furnishing useful precedents and reliable and valuable authority. Many of the cases are unimportant, but there is given no discretion to select and no authority to omit them.
