Excerpt from A Comparison of the Chemical and Physical Properties of Vitrified Bricks: A Thesis
The aim of this thesis is to attempt to establish some relation between the chemical and physical properties of vitrified brick; to try to show what effects different amounts of any substance, as shown by the chemical analysis, have upon the quality of the brick as determined by the standard physical tests.
