Publisher's Synopsis
My family and I immigrated to New York in October 1964 which as you can imagine is quite a difficult adjustment for any sixteen year old, but especially hard for someone who'd become accustomed to running all over London chasing after The Beatles. However, on the bright side of our move, I did get the opportunity to experience both of the Beatles' Shea Stadium concerts.
I feel fortunate to have such a vivid recollection of those exciting days in London, a gift that enables me to detail a scene as I write it. For millions of Beatle fans who remember that very special time, I humbly believe that my book is a fab trip down memory lane; and it's an informative history for the millions of younger people who would enjoy a light-hearted but personal account of a typical teenaged fan who was right there when Beatlemania first began. I'd also hope that the story could give everyone a better understanding of the lasting effects that those four young lads from Liverpool had on the musical, and social history of the world.
