This commentary on 2 Corinthians is meant for students of the Greek New Testament. Its design is to be a kind of "halfway house" between the various massive treatments of the letter and the more popular alternatives. The distinctive features of the volume are at least four. For one, there is a presentation of the Greek text in a manner intended to provide the reader with a bird's-eye view of the passages under examination. Second is an analysis of the text that approaches the letter in terms of grammatical-historical exegesis, with virtually every word of the epistle subjected to analysis. A third feature is the extensive bibliographies, intended to canvass both exegetical issues and topics of Pauline theology.
