This is an updated edition of a reference guide to diagnosing disease from the appearance of blood cells. Containing almost 1300 colour photomicrographs, the reader can identify and interpret cell and structures from a wide range of haematological disorders and conditions.;The authors show examples of the microscopic appearances of most cell types, both common and rare. Normal and abnormal appearances are included to enable the reader to recognize the first signs of disease. As in the previous edition, the content is divided into five sections dealing with different types of cells, from red cells to lymph nodes.
