Bookseller Notes

A good copy of this anthology of five English narrative poems, printed in Paris, each with its own half-title. A variant with the same date lists the work as available from bookseller Theophilus Barrois. Barrois and Stoupe frequently produced English works for a French audience, apparently undeterred by the spectacular failure of Anglo-French relations in this period.
