A Challenge to Influential Blacks reaches out to Black men born with a silver spoon in their mouth and those who come from humble beginnings. Too often in the Black community men of influence struggle to reach back to open the door for a Black man across the beaten tracks. The discourse is a shout out to such individuals to do extraordinary deeds for ordinary men who are struggling in modern society. The challenge is to become a friend to the outcast in society. Developing an interpersonal relationship with someone on the other side of the tracks would be an achievement for some Blacks of influence. Getting one's hands dirty, experiencing clothes being soiled comes with the territory. Hob nobbing with such people and leading persons from a life of degradation is the goal. Such a journey would be an eye opener, an unforgettable experience for the Black person of influence who would accept such a challenge.
