On February 19, 1931, nine women from Wichita Falls, Texas interested in widening their cultural perception, met and organized the Wichita Falls Poetry Society. That group of women had a vision that has fostered ninety years of poetic creativity. 90 Poems for 90 Years is a collection of poems written by the current fifteen talented members of this organization: Cynthia Archibald, Mary Pitchford Barnes, Daryl Ross Halencak, Lynn Hoggard, Monica McCawley, J. Robert Parkey, Geneva Rodgers, Nickolas Schreiber, Rosellen Kerr Sheetz, Linda Dabney Smith, Roberta Sund, Lloyd Mark Sutton, Sheri A. Sutton, Marcela P. Trice, and Doyle (Doc) Wood.
