By putting this case study through an analysis process, a preferred and recommended solution will be determined. A detailed foundation of historic origins, military occupational specialties and organization of the current Marine Air Control Group is thoroughly explained for the reader. No previous knowledge of Marine aviation is required and this paper will serve as a good primer on Marine air control. The issues of this transformation are addressed and possible solutions identified, ultimately resulting in the recommended direction. Only through a formal and extended plan over time can this transformation be successful. It is feasible and the future of Marine air control lies within our hands today.
