The following work was drawn up with exclusive reference to the wants of the J union Class in the The ological Seminary with which the author is connected, and was intended as a general introduction to the sub jcet of which it treats. His design in publishing it is, to spare the young gentlemen some weary hours in writ ing imperfect and erroneous transcripts, while he thinks that it may be useful to others in their situation.
