It was the Opinion of Lord Verulam, that the Book of Job is full of the mysteries of natural philosophy; and other philosophers have held, that there is a complete system of Geology oh scurely shadowed forth in this book, and in the first chapter of Genesis, though man may not always succeed in gathering it from the incidental and elementary passages in which it is embodied.
