For a longer period than is accorded most authors for literary activity, Mr. James's work has been accumulating in amazing quantity in widely scattered mediums, and increasingly, with out adequate guidance, librarians are being asked to hunt it up. The following bibliography should facilitate this research and enable Mr. James's readers to find a particular title, either in periodical form, in the original collection, in a later rearrangement, or in 022 fig; the numerous reissues of groups of stories or: essays.
