Publisher's Synopsis
Education systems across the Commonwealth have evolved over the years in line with the development goals set by policy makers and the aspirations of their populations. In most Commonwealth countries education is increasingly being used as a major tool for promoting a more equitable and just society, as well as to develop the human potential for productivity and service. This publication is an edited collection of papers prepared by Commonwealth countries to reflect the main developments and achievements, as well as outstanding constraints relating to the pursuit of equitable access to quality education for all citizens.
