The fourth assignment of error [tr. Fol. 1081] is based on the action of the court in receiving in evi dence, over defendant's objection, a letter addressed to the Stoddard Incorporating Trust Company for the purpose of ascertaining what steps would be necessary to reduce the capital stock of the Panama Develop ment Company from one million dollars to one hun dred thousand dollars.
