Suggested activities in the book derived from responses to open-ended questions from teachers involved in "An Exploratory Study of the Perception and Experiences of Selected Middle School Teachers on the Infusion of Multicultural Education in the Language Arts Curriculum in Broward County Schools, Florida." The guide presents strategies in the participant's own words. Most of the strategies reflect Bank's Four Levels of Multicultural Integration.
