]Huangdi Yin Fu Jing (The Classic of the Hidden Talisman)], also known as Yin Fu Jing or Xuanyuan Huangdi Yin Fu Jing, is regarded as one of the earliest Daoist classics, often grouped with the Dao De Jing and the Nanhua Zhenjing (Zhuangzi). Traditionally attributed to Huangdi (the Yellow Emperor), its authorship remains uncertain. Throughout history, it has been annotated by figures such as Jiang Ziya (Taigong), Fan Li, Guiguzi, Zhang Liang, and Zhuge Liang, with commentaries preserved in collections like the Daoist Canon and the Siku Quanshu (Complete Library of the Four Treasuries). The text comprises around 400 characters divided into three sections: the First Chapter], which explores the relationship between cosmic principles and human affairs; the ]Second Chapter], addressing principles of national prosperity and governance; and the ]Third Chapter], focusing on military strategy and tactics.
