This book argues that senior cricket spectators deserve more respect. It is an observation of how these spectators behave, both individually and collectively, and a reflection on the conversations they have while they are watching cricket. The book provides an affectionate tribute to the enthusiasm, wisdom and stoicism of the older generation at our county grounds and an invitation to all of us to make sure that we value and treasure these loyal spectators.
